Some floorings are available for delivery next and we would generally be able to fit within two weeks. Other floorings can take a week for delivery and we would normally be able to fit these within two weeks. We will always advise (wherever possible) of lead times on deliveries and fitting dates.

Yes, it’s absolutely fine to vacuum a new carpet. It is an old wives tale that you shouldn’t vacuum a carpet as soon as it’s been laid. New carpet often ‘sheds’ some of its pile (especially wool carpet) this is completely normal and natural for a new carpet to do this but people used to think the carpet was falling apart.

We do generally request that all furniture and existing flooring be removed prior to our arrival, however, we do understand that this is not always possible for this to be done. Feel free to discuss our ‘uplift, removal and disposal’ services.
